Yes, the official top 10 Google searches in Canada of 2018 has just be released. You probably can't even estimate how many things you've Googled this year, but you can now feel relieved to know that most people in the country were searching the exact same things as you.

A Google Trends expert explained that this year's list includes quite a few sporting references, which when you think about it makes a lot of sense. Sports were a heated topic and in the news a lot throughout the year.

Another topic that took over Canadian Google searches this year was tragic events. For example, the third most searched event in the country was the major crash involving the Humboldt Broncos. 

So, without further delay, here is the top 10 list of Canadian Google searches in 2018:
