Quebec Massive "Hot Air Balloon" Festival That's Totally Worth The Road Trip This Summer
More than just balloon rides!
We all know Montreal is essentially the festival capital of Canada. We really do have a ton of different festivals all year to pick from.
Here in Montreal, we are also quite lucky to have some great cities within driving distance, maximizing your festival season potential.
Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival is one outside of Montreal that is definitely worth your consideration.
Seriously guys, its jam-packed with summer fun from a full amusement park, games, and a family area complete with a reptile farm, inflatable playground, and rock climbing.
You'd think I was finished, but I'm not - there will also be a big top tent with 1001 hidden treasures, a vintage car exhibition, and a crafts market.
All of that stellar summer fun, with hot air balloons, of course! Glorious, massive and colourful themed hot air balloons.
Though, if the hot air balloon rides aren't quite your cup of tea, all the other stuff and the serene sight of these colourful giants floating around in the sky is still a sight to take in (at least) one time in your life!
Seriously, this festival looks insane, and draws tons of people! It is totally, 100% worth the 2-hour drive from Montreal.
