This Montreal Ice Cream Shop Serves Sundaes In A Watermelon And They're Going To Change Your Life
Who needs cones or bowls when you have fruit?
It's finally ice cream season! That means you can finally go outside and get some icy treats and not have to sit all by yourself in your apartment eating ice cream out of a tub.
Ice cream is in no short supply in Montreal, and you probably think that you've seen it all already, but trust me you haven't. It seems like every day I hear about some new ice cream trend or see a new shop doing something crazy with this classic summer treat. It's amazing!
Well, Montreal has done it again. Did you know that you can ditch the cone and the cup and actually get a sundae served to you right in a watermelon? Yeah, that's right. If you think about it, this is even more environmentally friendly because you can compost the empty shell afterward!
I am really excited to try this out and see what the watermelon juices do to the flavor. I definitely don't think you can feel quite as summery as when you eat ice cream straight out of a hollowed-out fruit. But that's just me.
Try out this amazing treat at Le Blueboy: Artisan Glacier! You can find it at 150 Mont-Royal Ave E, Montreal, QC H2T 1P1. I've actually walked by this place hundreds of times, but I never knew what amazing creations lay waiting for me inside. Now that I know, catch me at Le Blueboy, that's for sure.
Founded in 2013, The Blueboy is proud to serve high-quality, homemade ice cream complete with original recipes. That's right, there's no crappy soft serve here. This is all fresh, all quality, all good!
All of their creations look absolutely amazing! From their cookie covered sundaes to their churro bowls, you have got to try them out. You will not regret it!
Even their store looks adorable! With the 50s feel, you are sure to enjoy your sundae. Just take a look around and you'll feel like you've been transported back in time, without problems. The only thing you've got to think about is your ice cream.
