Warmer Temperatures Predicted To Return To Montreal Next Week
Enjoy the outdoors while you still can!
Are Montrealers looking grumpier than usual these days? Or is it just me? I think it's the unusually cold and snowy weather that set into town literally overnight.
TL;DR Over the past few days Montreal has experienced unseasonably freezing cold tempratures. According the The Weather Network's 14-day trend and 7-day forecast, Montreal should expect average to slightly above average seasonal temperatures to return the coming week.
From one day to the next – boom, winter arrived. One month early, too.
Technically the first day of winter lands on December 21st, the winter solstice, also known as the most depressing day of the entire year because it's the day with the least amount of sunlight.
Moving onto the weather forecast, let's stay optimistic Montreal, because it looks like warmer weather is coming our way.
By warmer, I don't mean throw on your cut-off shorts and bust out the tank tops again – more like the return of seasonal and reasonable temperatures.
As you can see looking at the 7-day forecast, the temperature will start to rise over the weekend, and even take us into above average daytime high temperatures early next week.
I know wintery weather just started, but an additional 5 degrees sounds like heaven right now.
It's time to shed a couple layers for a week or two before the real intense December cold starts setting in.
