The gummy bears apparently look identical to the popular bear shaped gummies and some are even "sealed in a plastic wrapper as a regular candy would be."

Since they do not know exactly how much THC is in each candy, the police are warning people that there is a serious risk for poisoning.

They are asking parents to be vigilant and to check their children's candy just in case and to make sure that all candy is wrapped in the original packaging.

If you suspect you child might have ingested one of these candies, here are the warning signs:

  • Difficulty walking

  • Slurred speech

  • Nausea / vomiting

  • Extreme fatigue

  • Difficulty breathing
