Montreal is probably the best city on the continent to spend the summer months. Though, unfortunately, this also means that many Montrealers confine themselves to their urban bubble.

But those who venture out into Quebec will discover that the province is full of thrilling opportunities for summer excursions.

Though there are plenty of awesome bargains for travel abroad, some of the most exciting deals are a lot closer than you think!

This summer, for example, Vacances Dragon and AML Cruises, two Quebec-based businesses, are teaming up to offer discounted vacation packages between Montreal, Québec City, and the St. Lawrence River delta!

From May 1st to October 31st, 2019, Quebec residents will be able to embark on select one-day bus and cruise tours along the St-Lawrence for less than $100 round trip. There are even some whale watches for less than $200 round trip available between July 1st and August 31st!

According to a press release, "people will have the choice of several packages:"

  • Montreal-Quebec City round-trip package:

    • "Bus and guided cruise aboard the AML Louis-Jolliet at $59.99"

    • "Bus, guided cruise and red bus at $79.99"

  • Quebec City-Montreal round-trip package:

    • "Bus and guided cruise aboard the AML Cavalier Maxim at $59.99"

  • Montreal-Rivière du Loup round-trip bus/whale package:

    • "Bus, whale watching cruise aboard the AML Levant and two meals at $169.99"

The whale watch deal, in particular, is likely to be attractive to Montrealers. "Never have the whales," and "the greatest observation site in the world, been as accessible as with the Montreal to Rivière-du-Loup bus package," the press release reads.
