In case you haven't heard yet, the Montreal Canadiens Hall Of Fame is closing down at the end of August. The Bell Centre is undergoing extensive renovations and the Hall is being removed to make space for more service facilities.

The sad part is that there are no plans for a new hall , even though it seems crazy for a city that bleeds hockey not to have one. Certain display cases from the hall will be spread throughout the Bell Centre to so that fans can bask in their awesomeness, and those who have donated or lent items to the hall will have them returned. But sadly, there will no longer be a single place where you can experience Montreal Canadiens' history.

If you haven't yet visited the hall of fame or if you feel like taking one last look, now's your chance. Entrance to the hall will be FREE the entire month of August after which it will close down for good.

The hall is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Check out the Montreal Canadiens' website for more information.
