On several occasions in recent years, québécoise tennis pro Eugénie Bouchard has accepted dates with fans to further good causes and follow through on lost bets. Now, once again, she has taken up the daring initiative, offering a date at auction with a starting bid of $2,500. At the time of writing, the highest bid is $12,000.\nThis time, the date is Bouchard's contribution to the All In Challenge, which asks athletes, celebrities, and artists to join the cause to help supply food to people in need during the coronavirus crisis.\n"100% of the proceeds go directly to Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry," Bouchard explained in an Instagram post.\nThe winner and a friend will have the opportunity to attend one of Bouchard's tennis tournaments, like the U.S. Open, French Open, or Wimbledon, with round-trip airfare covered.\nThey will be invited to sit in the players' box with the athlete's entire team to enjoy the match.\nAfterwards, the happy duo will be able to share a meal with Eugénie and leave with a racket and shoes signed by the tennis star.\n"I think it's so important to come together during these tough times," she explains in a video posted to the All In Challenge website.\nThe auction ends on Friday, May 15 at 9 p.m. EST.\nView this post on Instagram 🙏🏼 ALL IN CHALLENGE 🙏🏼 I’m so excited to be a part of the @allinchallenge! @15sof and I want to offer a fun tennis experience.
