This weekend Upper Canada Village is hosting their annual 1860's Fall Fair. The village invites visitors to travel back in time to life before all the hustle and bustle. Upper Canada Village lets you travel back in time to when Ontario just began and surround yourself with local history while strolling through over 40 heritage buildings and pastoral landscape. And this weekend, things are about to get extra special, as Upper Canada Village is set to put on their annual 1860s Fall Fair. The Fall Fair is an opportunity to try market goods like fresh-baked bread, cheese, preserves, pies and more while being amazed that they were all made using historical recipes and techniques. Check out all the fun to be had this weekend below! Throughout the fairgrounds, there will be an array of shows, including musical acts, magic and games for the whole family. While surrounded by the world of the 1860s, you can take in the livestock exhibitions and agriculture that was cultivated using historic practicecs, including "dairy products, vegetables, flowers" and even fine arts. Notable activities include listening to the Brass Band, succumbing to illusion at the hand of magician and medicine man Steve Baker, children's games and races, a Grand Quilt Show and more.
