Promenade Wellington is hosting its 9th edition of La Cabane Panache et Bois Rond. From March 21st to March 24th, head on down to Verdun and experience Montreal's first festival of the spring season!\nWellington Street will be occupied by four days of music, local food, drinks, square dancing, lumberjack competitions, and of course, soooo much maple syrup. There's even a super secret show with a special guest on Saturday!\nGames!\nIf the music isn't enough to satisfy you, there will be an assortment of fun activities such as square dancing, axe throwing, tug-of-war, road hockey, and film screenings throughout the weekend.\nArts and Crafts!\nEven more, local craftspeople will have a general store; there will be workshops such as artisanal papermaking, a trapper workshop, and woodworking.\nLumberjacks!\nThe Pilon family of lumberjacks will perform feats of strength and engage in some friendly competition with woodcutting and amazing lumberjack techniques.\nDid I mention that this is all free?
