The summer may be coming to an end, but Montreal's enthusiasm for outdoors parties has far from faded. Taking place from August 20-23, The Flavours of Monkland Festival will take over 7 blocks of Monkland Avenue to bring you the biggest block party that Montreal has ever seen.\nYou can expect live music, tons of food trucks and plenty of local Montrealers selling things at merchant stands. And possibly the best part is that the party is completely free. Last year there were about 200,000 people at the Flavours of Monkland Fest, so if it's even anything close to that, it's going to be one epic party. Also, it's being put on by the same people who brought you Monkland's Grand Prix event, so if you went to that (and know just how amazing it was) then you know that anyone who goes to this is in for a good time.\nSo get ready to stuff your face with amazing food, listen to some good tunes and dance your weekend away, because this festival is not to be missed. And it might just be your last chance to get in a good outdoor party before the summer is over!\nCheck out the Facebook event for more info.
