Summertime is often said to be festival season in Montreal, but in truth, the themed events that take over the city start far earlier. Really, festival season starts as soon as spring is sprung, mainly because Montrealers are straight up itching to get their fun on when winter is finally gone.

Even though we still got a bit of February, and the cold chunk of March that makes you think winter will never end, to go, that doesn't mean we can't get jazzed about the wide assortment of events that come with spring.

So screw cleaning, because spring in Montreal is all about festivals. Get excited for all them by checking out what festivals are in store for you in spring below.
