Montreal is filled with holiday activities, and this weekend many things are opening for the first time that will go until Christmas.\nFrom Noel Dans le Parc to Atwater's Christmas Market, there's more to do than just Black Friday shop!\nSee what's up this weekend below!\nVisit MTLBlog for more headlines.\nMontreal is filled with holiday activities, which is why every Montreal local seems to slowly be getting into the holiday spirit. With the many things opening this weekend, I have no doubt that this weekend is going to be one to remember.\nIt may be cold, but it's not cold enough for spending your weekend indoors. Netflix will always be there but for now, we locals need to enjoy the crisp weather before the snow completely takes over our lives.\nChristmas markets, light festivals, free crepes and even romantic date nights are all on the agenda this weekend throughout our awesome city.\nNot only is Christmas time upon us but shopping season is in full force (or should I say consumer season?). With Black Friday sales happening all around and Christmas markets opening all over the place, there's no denying that 'tis the season to be spending some cash.\nBut if you're not buying into the feeling of being forced to shop, you can partake in the second climate strike happening in Montreal on Friday! Its purpose? Anti-consumerism, as a response to Black Friday.\nFrom exploring the outdoors to spend your time inside a mall, there is no reason why you shouldn’t try to experience everything that is happening throughout our city!\nVisit The Atwater Christmas Market\nView this post on Instagram #winterinmontreal #winterwonderland #villagedenoel #marchedenoel #marcheatwater #christmas #christmasvibes #holidayseason #holidays #livemontreal #mtlmoments #mtllove @noelmontreal @marcheatwater A post shared by Caro Labbé (@caroolabbe) on Dec 28, 2018 at 6:15pm PST\nWhen: Opens on November 29 to December 22\nWhere: 138 avenue Atwater; Atwater Market\nRead our article about it here!\nAttend Montreal's Second Climate Strike\nView this post on Instagram OUR FUTURES ARE NOT FOR SALE. DON'T BUY INTO IT. 🛍️🛒Get ready to take action during our next international strike on 🖤 NOVEMBER 29TH🖤. As most of you know, this strike falls on Black Friday so we thought putting a focus on the danger of corporate greed and it's contributions to the earth's destruction could help to combat consumerism. All of us make a choice for the planet with every item we purchase and company we support. It's important to be aware of the power you have and demand better. We have the ability to switch to better extraction/production/processing methods as well as produce products that dont put our future at risk. This concept can apply to everything, every industry, internationally!! ---Check in with your local group for details on events and/or strikes you can attend. Message us if you can't find your local group! There may not be one in your city, but we can let you know, and we can point you in the right direction if there is a group set up! 💚--- A post shared by Climate Strike Canada (@climatestrikecanada) on Nov 19, 2019 at 11:10am PST\nWhen: November 29; 6 a.m. - 7 p.m.\nWhere: See the Facebook page for specific locations\nFind Pieces Of New York In Montreal\nView this post on Instagram Friday around the corner 📌 ❤️ @clandestino_mtl #clandestinomtl #clandestino #bar #speakeasy #secret #underground #mezcaleria #mezcal #tequila #cozy #tulum #vibes #mtlmoments #mtlblog #nightlife #montreal #friday #fridaynight #5@7 #goingout #destination #blogger #influencer #love #❤️ A post shared by Clandestino MTL (@clandestino_mtl) on Oct 18, 2019 at 6:51am PDT\nWhen: Whenever you're feeling for a new experience\nWhere: Places like Clandestino and Marché Aux Puces St-Michel could\nFind out other spots you can have NYC experiences while in Montreal here!\nCheck Out The Ultimate Christmas Store\nView this post on Instagram Christmas Time in Montreal A post shared by Elizabeth B (@elizabeth.burgos.756) on Oct 20, 2014 at 11:05am PDT\nWhen: Everyday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.\nWhere: 60A Rue Notre-Dame O.\nRead about Noël Eternel here\nCelebrate The Official Opening Of Noël Dans Le Parc\nnoeldanslepark.com\nWhen: Opens November 30 until December 24\nWhere: 1500 Rue Berri; Place Émilie-Gamelin\nFind out more!\nCheck Out A Holiday-Themed Escape Room\nView this post on Instagram Good news! Go play in the snow, then chill in a warm pool when it's snowing. We visited Nordik, the largest spa in North America and it was incredible. We wish we could just live there... like forever! There are three areas: whisper, silence and social so everyone can enjoy their own spa experience. There are amazing rituals which happen every single day. Think a magical towel dance with scented towels in an awesome sauna. There are cute yurts, resting areas, dry and steamy saunas, cold and hot pools, floating pools... Nordik has it all. For a romantic (and relaxing) experience for couples, this is the place to be. Now we are really embracing winter in Ottawa. ⠀ What's your favourite spa ritual?⠀ #youcouldtravel #myottawa #explorecanda #ad @ottawatourism @nordikspanature_chelsea --⠀ #nordik #nordikspa #pool #couple #creativetravelcouples #romance #couplegoals A post shared by Cory & G | You Could Travel (@youcouldtravel) on Feb 20, 2019 at 8:09am PST\nWhen: Is there ever a bad time for a spa day?\nWhere: Read our ideas for places to go here\nIllumi Cavalia\nView this post on Instagram WE KEEP ON RIDING .... - - - #illumicavalia #lightshow #lights #picoftheday #photography #photographer #outdoors #laval #show #event #tuesday #goodnight A post shared by alm1974 (@alm1974) on Nov 26, 2019 at 6:00pm PST\nWhen: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.\nWhere: 2805 boul. du Souvenir, Laval\nRead our article about Illumi here!\nHappy weekend, Montreal!
