There are so many things I love about fall: the leaves, the crisp air, the sweaters. But if I had to pick my favourite, I'd probably say pumpkins. They're beautiful, only come once a year and they're oh so delicious. And with so many pumpkin picking spots near Montreal, you're sure to be set for the season.

When a pumpkin isn't turning into a spooky jack-o-lantern, it's one of the quintessential parts of the fall harvest.

And because we here in Quebec take our food seriously, you know we've got our fair share of farms and orchards to get to explore.

It seems like as one season starts, another one begins.

So all of those spots where you feel like you were just picking berries could now be your go-to spot for picking pumpkins.

One of the benefits of having all four seasons, no?

While you're there, you can check out some of the other incredible fall fruit and veggies, like apples and squash.

Some of the places on the list are close and some are a little further away.

But with leaves so beautiful and delicious pumpkins waiting for us, a little fall drive through la belle province never sounded so good.

Just be sure to check each farm to see if you need a reservation before heading out!
