Save your money and prepare for a feast. The popular Asian Night Market is returning tothis year, an event organizer at Foodfest MTL confirmed to MTL Blog. Last year, one street in the neighbourhood closed off to welcome 30 street food vendors selling treats for between $3 and $8, drawing thousands of visitors. Admission to the event was free in 2019.
Details on the 2020 edition are few, but the event has grown in size every year, moving from the Quai de l'Horloge in the Old Port to Chinatown last year, when organizers claimed it was the largest market of its kind in the city.
In addition to a seemingly endless selection of food, the Night Market was the site of street performances and games for participants.
The event will once again mark the end of summer, arriving on August 21 and concluding on August 23, 2020, an organizer told MTL Blog on Monday.

Last year, the number of people who marked themselves as interested or going to the market on Facebook was a whopping 34,000.
The 2020 market is sure to once again be the event of the summer.
