Visit MTLBlog for more headlines. In times of uncertainty the one thing we can all do besides staying positive it to keep our minds busy. Cirque du Soleil has always been designed as an escape from reality, offering a glimpse of an alternate, fantasy world of glitz, athleticism, and storytelling. Though its famous productions are on pause, the Montreal-based company has found a way to continue to make its spectacles available to the public. Cirque du Soleil has an online content hub called #CirqueConnect where viewers can enjoy a selection of videos. From learning how to exercise the #CirqueWay to exclusive videos for kids and even new makeup techniques, Cirque du Soleil has thought of everything to help you stay entertained and busy during this time of isolation. Through the platform, the company aims to "offer an escape from everyday life through the delight and whimsy of our shows." On March 27 at 3 p.m. there will be a special one-hour presentation featuring inspiring moments from some of the most iconic performances. The best part: all of this content is free. "Now more than ever, we want to do our little part to spread joy, even from afar, directly to your safe spaces," Cirque du Soleil writes on the #CirqueConnect website.
