We operate as a non-profit, so anyone who works for us does so on a volunteer basis. Josh Spencer started KickDrum in 2015 as an avenue for smaller artists to book shows without the hassle and on the cheap," says Elizabeth, a founding member of KickDrum. Here's what you need to know:\n"The types of spaces we are looking for are BIG living rooms or basements that can fit between 25 and 50 people comfortably. Additionally, they need to be in apartments where it’s safe to make some noise and not upset neighbours. Everyone is welcome, but priority will be given to musicians that aren't super loud.
