Fall is the time of the year when the air seems to be the most fresh, the views are the most picturesque and everyone seems to be looking for things to do.

The Eastern Townships are less than two hours away from Montreal and the undeniable charm this area possesses is what I love most about it. The abundance of colour makes the region feel like a living painting.

Starting September 14, 2019 for an entire month, you can experience the beauty of the Eastern Townships at the Mont Sutton fall festival!

Their jam-packed calendar is filled with amazing activities that are perfect for a day out with friends or family.

Like any good festival, there will be a ton of cool games and activities to participate in, including chairlift rides through the foliage, guided hikes, outdoor concerts and a ton of kid friendly activities, such as a mini obstacle course and arts & crafts.

Some of the activities are free, while others charge a small fee.

Among the free activities are guided hikes through the surrounding forest. So if chairlifts aren't your thing, you can still enjoy the scenery from a more earthly perspective.

There will also be a slew of food options to pick from at the bottom of the hill so that you don’t go hungry during the fun.

Live music will animate the festival! Be sure to visit at least one of the "Jazzy Sundays!"

To top it all off, there is even going to be a huge sale on ski gear, so if you are in need of new equipment before the season starts, you will be saving up to 70% at this festival.

This event is a great opportunity to score some ski gear, take a billion photos and enjoy all that Mother Nature has to offer.

During the event, don’t forget to use #PurementSUTTON on all the pictures you post.

The best photo will win two individual ski day tickets, which will be valid during this upcoming season!
