Montreal Is Hosting Cat Video Festival At Cinema Du Parc
How has this never happened before?
This summer cats will be taking over the popular Cinema du Parc for a one-night-only, 70-minute cat-stravaganza. And no, not the terrifying CGI and live-action film, Cats. This film features the cutest and funniest cat videos all cut together for non-stop feline hilarity.
If your finger is getting tired from clicking on cat gifs all day, this is the perfect chance to just sit back and watch over an hour of curated moments that will make you 'awwwww'.
CatVideoFest will be in Montreal on August 15th!
CatVideoFest is the video we didn't know we needed. The project was created back in 2017 by a group of cat lovers whose goal is to raise money and awareness for cats in need worldwide.
A portion of every ticket in Montreal that's purchased is donated to the Animal Rescue Network.
CatVideoFest is showing across North America, their fundraising events are focused on the individual needs of each city.
For instance, some local shelters may be more focused on spaying/neutering, while others may focus on a high feral cat population. By working closely with local organizations, they are able to have the most impact.
