National Best Friend Day: Here's 5 Things In Montreal You Gotta Do With Your Best Friend Today
Friends are like bras, always there for your support.
Today is the day! The day that we appreciate our best friend and enjoy the FABULOUS 27 degree weather. Not only can you both take advantage of the gorgeous weather, but you can treat each other to some well deserved down time before the rush of summer begins.
Plus, it's Grand Prix weekend so there are DOZENS of activities you and your BFF can do to celebrate. There's the Mural Fest and sangria awaiting you and your best friend so that you can make a toast to each other for just being the darn right BEST person who puts up with all your shit.
1. Take Your BFF To The Mural Fest And See Post Malone For FREE!
Start off your Grand Prix weekend by checking out the Mural Fest with your BFF for FREE! All along the Main (AKA Boulevard St-Laurent) you can view beautiful new murals that have just been created while enjoying the music of Post Malone!
Where: Boulevard St-Laurent
2. Take Your BFF To A Rooftop Terrasse For Sangria
My personal favorite terrasse happens to be Terrasse Nelligan located in the heart of Old Montreal. It is absolutely stunning! The views are amazing considering that the Basilica is your view from one side and the water front is your view from the other side. They have amazing fish tacos and even more spectacular sangria pitchers that you and your BFF will obsess over!
3. Take Your BFF To La Diperie For Ice Cream
The famous Diperie has to be on this list especially for those BFFs who have not tried it yet or who just OBSESS over ice cream! You may have seen them all over Instagram featuring vanilla ice cream dipped in delicious chocolate flavors and crazy toppings, and trust me when I say it is 514% worth it especially on this hot AF day.
4. Take Your BFF To Francofolie For FREE!
Quartier des spectacles
Today is the first official day of Francofolie! They have a free show today at 6:00PM so you and your BFF can check it out and literally laugh your ass off. They also have other free attraction with food and live music.
5. Take Your BFF To The Village For Les Aires Libres
It's absolutely the perfect day to take a walk down Sainte Catherine Street East in the Gay Village to see the 180,000 balls of 18 different colors hanging in the bright blue sky today! You can shop, check out a bar, or just enjoy the gorgeous weather.
