OH, Canada! You are so full of places to explore — like our capital, Ottawa. And while most people think of there are few things to do in Ottawa, because it's considered being a small town compared to Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, we often forget that there's so much heart in the heart of the country.\nNow, when you think of Ottawa, you probably think of Parliament Hill and Justin Trudeau walking down the street (I wonder if he goes to the local Tim's?)\nEditor's Choice: This Exotic Depanneur Chain In Montreal Sells Drinks & Munchies From All Over The World\nAnd with good reason. Most of us head to Ottawa at some point in school for the very "I'm in school, I need to learn about the capital" trip.\nMaybe if you're lucky for a hockey tournament.\nBut now that we're older, Ottawa is actually such a great place to visit.\nCafes, boutiques and, of course, lots of history.\nAnd when I chat with some Ottawans, they tell me that fall is a particularly special time of the year.\nSo next time you're feeling particularly patriotic or just feel like you need a getaway, here are all of the best things to do in Ottawa that aren't a visit to Parliament Hill (although you can totally do that, too).\nTake A Haunted Walk\nAddress: 46 Sparks Street, Ottawa, ON\nView this post on Instagram Prison du Compté de Carleton 🗝 - Ottawa Nous avons vécu une expérience particulière lors de notre séjour à Ottawa. . . . . . #liveauthentic #awesomeearth #explorecanada #canadaswonderland #igerscanada #ohcanada #unlimitedcanada #sonyimages #sonyalpha #sonyalphasclub #sonyphotogallery #citybestpics #city_explore #citylimitless #igersottawa #discoveron #downtownottawa #myottawa #ottawaontario #ottawajailhostel #jail #history #architecturephotography #citytrip #roadtrip #pvtistes #experiences #discovering #ontariotravel #ontariotourism A post shared by Les Caribous Belges (@lescaribousbelges) on Feb 19, 2020 at 9:22am PST\nNothing says Halloween quite like a spooky story. Sometimes it’s broken. Sometimes it’s messy. And a lot of the time it can be painful. Brining your best is bringing yourself authentically—rough edges and all. It’s understanding your imperfections are what make you human, what make you humble, and what make you original. Being real with yourself is a courageous act. Being able to look into your own heart at all the trauma, and hurt, and growth, and progression, and regression, positions you so intimately beside your purest you. Your authentic self is truly the best version you can give the world, but ultimately give to God. In that freedom, you find you, you know you, and you know where you’re going. In a world that consistently tries to tell you how to design your life, choose every day to live your story in accordance with your personal journey.
