I honestly believe that poutine is the great uniter. Not only is it a dish well-loved around the whole world at this point, but it's the quintessential Quebec dish... And although other places might try, we all know that no one can come close to making a poutine quite like Quebec can.

Which is why, whenever there are festivals in celebration of this beautiful dish, it's an awesome thing.

Luckily, there's a poutine festival coming up later this month. On August 25 - 27, Drummondville will be hosting the Festival De La Poutine at Centre Marcel Dionne (Rue Cockburn, Drummondville, QC J2C 4L7), roughly an hour away from Montreal.

Not only will this celebration feature lots and lots of poutine (yasss) from many different food trucks (including Das Food Truck and L'Assomoir), but there will also be live concerts throughout the event, showcasing artists such as Les Cowboys frignant and 2 Frères.

You can attend this awesome festival for about $25 a day, or you can go ahead and get the three day passport for roughly $35.

Sounds like the best road trip you could ever go on? Perfect. Check out their website for more information, and click here to get tickets.
