There is no shortage of spas near Montreal, but the ones below have all recently transformed into winter wonderlands that are perfect for a snowy getaway.\nEven better, all of these spas are just an hour or less from Montreal... \nSome are even accessible by public transit! Take a look below.\nVisit MTLBlog for more headlines.\nNow that the snow has fallen, one of my absolute favourite things to do is to visit a spa near Montreal. It's a great excuse to get out of the city and spend some time in the great, wintery outdoors without having to drop cash on a hotel or massage to actually feel pampered. However, keep in mind that a bunch of these places do offer massages and a couple do even have hotels attached if you're really looking to disconnect for a weekend.\nFor me, though, a couple hours doing a thermal circuit and I am ready to go home and sleep like a baby. There is nothing like curing the sweltering heat of a sauna by plunging into a freezing cold pool of water, and the best part is lounging in a nice hot tub to relax... until you do it all over again.\nDunking in a freezing river, like at Polar Bear's Club, is something that really gives me a serious reset after a hard week... and I can't wait to see how the new Forëna Thermal City turns out, because I'd love to not need a car to get there.\nSo, yes, I guess I'm a bit of a spa junkie.\nWhich is why I hope you enjoy this collection of winter wonderful spas only an hour from Montreal where you, too, can experience the relaxation of a hot tub while the snowfalls all around.\nPolar Bear's Club\nView this post on Instagram Relaxing at #polarbearsclub #spa #pictureperfect #relax A post shared by Laina Christine Omdahl (@lainaomdahl) on Nov 20, 2019 at 7:09am PST\nView this post on Instagram Journée de spa et massage ❤ #polarbearclub #spa #massage #detente #hiver A post shared by Anne Bérubé (@annebrub) on Nov 16, 2019 at 6:59pm PST\nWhy: River access makes this spa a real test of your grit, and also provides an unparalleled thermal circuit that you don't get at most spas.\nWhere: Piedmont, Laurentians\nDistance from Montreal: 1 hr drive from Montreal\nFind out more here.\nSpa Le Finlandais\nView this post on Instagram Moment parfait ✨ #spa #spafinlandais #spalefinlandais #moment #parfait #perfect #wine #sunset #nature A post shared by Spa & Hôtel Le Finlandais (@spalefinlandais) on Apr 15, 2019 at 5:10pm PDT\nView this post on Instagram Les Bulles d’Helsinki Les avez-vous déjà essayées? 🙋♂️🙋♀️ #spafinlandais #spalefinlandais #spaday #detente #rosemere #experience #relaxation #bassins #thermotherapie #journeeauspa A post shared by Spa & Hôtel Le Finlandais (@spalefinlandais) on Nov 30, 2018 at 1:10pm PST\nWhy: This spa is super accessible from the city, whether you have a car or not, and the lighting at night makes you feel like you're in another world.\nWhere: Rosemère, Laurentians\nDistance from Montreal: 30 min drive, ~1 hr 20 mins by public transit\nFind out more here.\nSpa Ofuro\nView this post on Instagram Spa day #ofurospa #zen #relax #perfectday #withmygirl #spaday #ambiance #morinheights #laurentides #quebec A post shared by Clara and Cie (@claraolivia22) on Jun 1, 2019 at 10:37am PDT\nView this post on Instagram My favorite winter sport; going at the spa🧖🏼♀️👙#ofurospa #treatyoself #wintertime #enjoyingwinter A post shared by Jolliane LeBlanc (@jollianeleblanc) on Feb 17, 2019 at 12:10pm PST\nWhy: Spa Ofuro is all about finding zen, surrounded by nature.
