Airbnb's new luxury home rental service, Airbnb Luxe, is a service for those who want a truly special holiday retreat, from beautiful French castles to secluded villas in Bali to, yes, even private islands.

Amongst other beautiful destination homes is Nukutepipi, the private island belonging to Guy Laliberté, one of Cirque du Soleil's founders and the brain behind PY1.

The island, located in Polynesia, can host up to 52 guests in a 16 bungalows, with a total of 21 bedrooms (!!) and 25 baths. A group of guests can rent it for just under $200,000 a night, or $1.1M a week.

According to Robb Report, Laliberté chose the island of Nukutepipi for its unspoiled nature, "a primary forest laced with powder-white sand and a serene lagoon protected by a thriving coral reef."

The businessman built a spectacular resort on the island that can host up to 52 guests. The resort consists of beautiful villas, outdoor baths and showers, a secluded movie theatre, a spa, a giant dining room and so much more.

Of course, you're going to want to spend most of your time outside: that is why there are 3 swimming pools, a pristine beach, a tennis court and a hammoc area.

The views from the villa are absolutely breathtaking: the natural vistas are complemented by exquisite decor, works of art, and wonderful lounging areas.

If I had a spare million, I would definitely not mind spending a week there.

The cost of the villa includes cleaning services and a chef, but you can pay more to rent the equipment found on the island, like boats, bikes and tennis courts.

If you ever have 52 friends with $21,000 to spare each, I think you know where to go.
