Environment Canada Warning: Rain And Flood Alert In Effect For Montreal

Good morning Montreal. Today we have some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that even though some parts of Quebec will be seeing some snow over the next few days, we here in Montreal will be spared.

The bad news is that instead of snow we'll be getting rain... A LOT of rain.

There is a rainfall warning in effect for Montreal and the Laval Area.

According to Environment Canada up to 35mm of rain is expected, and there is a possible risk of flooding.

If this sort of thing keeps happening every year at the same time, we may have to consider adding a new season in to Montreal's extensive seasonal repertoire.

We already have winter, fake summer, 2nd winter, fake spring, 3rd surprise winter, real spring, real summer, and fall. Now we have flood season as well!
