Environment Canada Warning: Montreal To Be Hit With 15cm Of Snow Tonight

At 4:28 AM EST on Thursday November 15th, Environment Canada has issued an alert for the greater Montreal area. 

Starting at around midnight tonight, snow will slowly start falling over Montreal.

Overnight the snowfall will intensify, and by Friday morning we're going see between 10 and 15 cm of snow. 

The snowfall warning is effect for the following regions:

  • Châteauguay - La Prairie area
  • Laval area
  • Longueuil - Varennes area
  • Montréal Island area

Special weather alerts have also been issue in Quebec, Beauce, Drummondville, TheEastern Townships, Gatineau, Saint Jerome and more.

The snow is predicted to have a severe impact during the morning and evening commutes and travel conditions will not be ideal, so if you're planning on getting anywhere tomorrow, do yourself a favor and leave early. 

The snow will accumulate rapidly which means driving conditions are going to be terrible, especially since many people still haven't installed their winter tires.
