Environment Canada Warning: Non-Stop Rain Headed To Montreal And Laval
Environment Canada is warning the Montreal and Laval area to prepare for significant rainfall over the next five days, particularly this Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21.
They explain in their Special Weather Statement that "a series of low-pressure systems" are the cause of the impending rain that is forecasted to continue over a "long period of time."
The significant amounts of rain could reach measurements of 50 millimetres. Take a look below at the areas that are expected to be affected in the Metro Montreal/Laval region.

TL;DR Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the Montreal and Laval areas as a "significant amount of rain" is expected to fall over the next couple days, increasing the already present threat of flooding across the province.
The following areas can expect to see heavy rainfall for the next couple days:
Châteauguay
La Prairie
Laval area
Longueuil
Varennes
Montréal Island area
The heaviest rainfall can be expected on Saturday and Sunday, according to Environment Canada.
