Environment Canada Warning: Parts Of Southern Quebec To Be Hit With Up To 60cm Of Snow

The weather is going to get a little crazy in a lot of places in Quebec today.

Environment Canada has issued a few different warnings across the province including a storm surge, a high wind warning, and a gigantic winter storm.

Don't panic just yet because only certain areas will be affected by the storm and for the rest of us, today will be business as usual.

The Snow is expected to start falling tonight which will create some hazardous winter conditions. A total of 30 to 60 centimetres of snow is expected in the following areas:

The Quebec area, as well as most of the coastal areas are under a storm surge warning. High water levels are expected which will cause some coastal flooding along the shoreline.

Meanwhile in the greater Montreal area and the rest of Quebec it will be a normal boring day with a bit of mixed precipitation.

Environment Canada are asking people to consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
