You can do a lot with less, even when it comes to architecture and city living. Montreal interior designer Anne Sophie Goneau proves its possible to make a tiny urban living space really quite beautiful in her recently completed project "Espace St-Denis."
Redesigning and remodeling the ground floor condo of an 1887 triplex in Montreal's Plateau, Goneau has fused old and new into a very sleek living space. Highlighting the raw materials discovered during the demolition of the original condo, Espace St-Denis features the original brick wall of the building with the modern additions of glass walls and steel beams.
Whereas a lot Montreal apartments are notorious for being cramped, or for being spatially divided quite strangely, Espace St-Denis uses a small space with maximum effect. I know I wish I lived there.
Take a look inside.
