Extreme Cold Warning: It's Going To Be -42°C In Montreal

If you thought yesterday was cold, hold on to your butts because today is going to be even worse.

At 4:25 am, Environment Canada issued an extreme cold warning for Montreal.

The arctic air and the high winds will be producing what they are calling "extreme wind chills" that will make the temperature drop to -42°C!

But we might get lucky (I'm using the word "lucky" very generously), if the wind slows down a bit, the temperature might only drop to -35°C. It's still pretty terrible but it's definitely better than -42°C.

The warning was issued because at these temperatures, there is a high risk of frost bite and hypothermia after only a few minutes of exposure, so be careful out there and stay indoors if you can.
