Famous Canadian Instagram Sisters Arrested For Scamming Billionaire (15 Photos)

The "Nigerian billionaire Prince" email is probably one of the most known scams out there, so it's a little weird to hear about Canadian women scamming a Nigerian billionaire.
Sounds more like a headline for The Onion, but apparently 2 Canadian sisters have been arrested in Lagos for trying to do exactly that.

Kiran and Jyoti Matharoo are two sisters from Toronto who tried to blackmail a billionaire named Femi Otedola by claiming they had evidence of him cheating on his wife.
The Billioniare hired some investigators and found out that these girls had done this in the past. They recorded themselves having sex with rich men, then they would threaten to post the videos online.
Femi Otedola filed a complaint and the sisters were arrested. Their laptops were filled with information about different people and a lot of sex tapes with politicians and businessmen.
The girls were accused of humiliation and cyber bullying of 274 people in Africa.
Even before all of this, the sisters were already notorious. They have more than 50,000 followers combined, they've had articles written about them where they were nicknamed: "Nigeria’s most promiscuous sisters", and they've practically become a staple of Nigerian nightlife.
The Matharoo sisters are currently being detained and their next court date is on January 26, 2017.
