Fans Will Be Able To Walk Through The F1 Grand Prix Track In Montreal

Here we go, again...
In case you've been living under a rock, one of the biggest annual events in Montreal returns, again, next weekend. The buzz in Montreal has alreadyย begun!
F1 Grand Prix is a Montreal staple, whether you like it or not. The international race will take over the city between June 7-10, with the main events beginning on the 8th.ย

F1 brings in the noise, that is for sure. The club parties are insane. A stretch of St. Catherine and Peel will be closed to traffic and welcome pedestrians to a display of souped-up sports cars from years prior. There will be sidewalk sales and tons of tourists.ย
If anything, F1 definitely does bring a new energy to the city, so that is exciting!ย
One event in particular during F1 Grand Prix weekend has spiked my intrigue.ย ย
For the first time ever, Montrealers will get the opportunity to walk directly along the F1 Grand Prix circuit in 2018.ย
I'm talking about literally walking along the roads on the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit, taking in the same views as the drivers do.
The best part about this is that it all goes to benefit a great cause.ย
All of the ticket proceeds from this event will go to benefit The Heart and Stroke Foundation - so that, to me at least, is a win!
Here's all the information you should remember:
What? F1 Grand Prix - The Grand Walkย
When? Friday, June 8th - 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Where? Gilles-Villeneuve Circuit, Parc Jean-Drapeau
How Much? $45-$50ย
You can get presale tickets for $45 right here, and some tickets will be available on-site for $50.ย
Might be a little pricey, but it's a unique experience that, again, is for a good cause!
