Alright, friends, show of hands if you've always wanted to travel and explore the world. Is your hand raised? Great! Because it totally should be.
There's no doubt that exploring the world while you're still young is a great idea, and studying abroad is a great way to do it. The older you get, the harder it might be to get around to fulfilling those dreams of exploring the world.
But no worries! Going abroad is actually super easy, whether you're a student looking to study in another country, down to take a gap year and explore beyond your front door, interested in learning a language abroad or straight-up interested in working overseas.
And if you're a little confused as to how to begin your brand new life adventure? Well, no worries! One Canadian event has totally got your back - and it just so happens to be making its way to Montreal this March!
The Study And Go Abroad Fair is Canada's largest international student and university travel expo. The fair is FREE to attend, and is basically your biggest and best resource for everything and anything you need to know about studying or travelling abroad!
Going down March 2, 2019 at Montreal's Palais Des Congres Room 517D (5th floor) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (seminars starting at 12:00 PM), the fair is exactly where you want to be if you've ever dreamed of going abroad. Arrive early at noon for the feature seminar on Scholarships!
There'll be top universities, graduate schools and professional schools from around the world at the expo, as well as student travel organizations showcasing work abroad, internships, language travel and more. Meaning you can get all of your questions answered in one spot, right here in the city.
A little example of the type of schools that'll be featured at the Study And Go Abroad Fair? American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, The University of Exeter, UK, and 14 universities from Hungary in the Study in Hungary stand - just to name a few!
Although schools from all over the world will be at this expo, it's not just for students. People looking to learn a language abroad can meet with EF, which has campuses all over the world. And if you're looking to work abroad, SWAP, the working holiday experts, will be there - as well as International Experience Canada (which can help inform you on how to get visas to work in over 30 other countries!). And, pro tip? Working overseas looks AMAZING on a resume!
Plus, the Montreal fair is going to feature seminars from noon to 5 PM. There'll be seminars like Staffordshire University: Leading University for Criminal Justice Education/Professions and SCAD: The University for Creative Careers, among others!
Even though this super all-encompassing event is totally free to attend, it's worth it to pre-register just so you know for sure you'll get to see and do everything you want to see and do!
Honestly, if you want to pursue your dreams of studying and traveling abroad, this is the perfect spot to get all the information you could possibly need. Sounds awesome? You know it!
