Montréal En Lumière Is Hosting A New Japanese Foodie Event And You Can't Miss It

The 21st edition of our city’s famousis fast approaching! Showcasing the best in Quebec gastronomy since 2000, this festival routinely draws locals and visitors who come from near and far to celebrate the one thing that Montreal does best: food, of course.
While the festival as a whole kicks off on February 20 until March 1, Montréal en Lumière will proudly be presenting their brand-newevent on February 21 and 22 at Quartier Gourmand in the heart of Montréal en Lumière’s outdoor site, serving some of the finest Japanese dishes in Montreal!
Immerse yourself in a lively dining atmosphere and treat yourself to exquisite meals prepared by the hands ofwho’ve made their mark in Montreal’s Japanese culinary scene. Suddenly hungry? Can’t say we blame you.
Accompanying the gastronomic delights set to be served during theevent will be a scheduled alcohol-tasting for only 20$ with an expert sommelier — which sounds like the definition of a perfect night, honestly. Sip on some of the finest sakes or discover different whiskeys and gins as you make your way around the site taking in Japanese art, multiple film screenings, culinary demonstrations, and, of course, music.
This is the first time thatwill be taking part in Montréal en Lumière. Set in Quartier Gourmand, Taste of Japan is right in the middle of all the foodie action in the very heart of the city. After attracting over 15,000 visitors at its incredibly successful launch last year, Quartier Gourmand is THE hub for foodies attending Montréal en Lumière. Here, you can indulge in great food and drinks and make some delightful discoveries.
