Hope y'all have got your finest capes, utility belts, wings, scepters and hammers ready, because Montreal Comiccon is back! The international fan convention showcasing the best in comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, video games and more, returns for its 7th edition and will yet again bring with it some of the world’s biggest entertainment heroes (and villains!).
Montreal Comiccon has grown leaps and bounds since its inception back in 2006, but this year's edition will be bigger and better than ever. So big in fact, that it will be held this summer (instead of the fall) and will take over an entire floor of Palais des congrès for 3 full-days of pure geek overload!

Packed with a select range of awesome activities, exhibits, and other attractions, Montreal Commicon will offer an expanded playground consisting of a large Dealers Room, an Artists Alley, a Cosplay Masquerade contest, and a Trading-card Games Area. Programming will include film screenings, photo booths, autograph sessions, main stage events, video game exhibitions (including a Super Smash Bros tournament!), and of course, guest panels!
Some of the guests we're most looking forward to seeing include:
- Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Batman v Superman)
- Karen Gillan (Doctor Who, Guardians of the Galaxy)
- Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats)
- Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy)
- Hayley Atwell (Marvel's Agent Carter and Captain America: First Avenger)
- Gwendoline Christie (Game Of Thrones, Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens)
While Montreal Comiccon is based on San Diego's Comic-Con International format, we obviously do things a little differently which means you'll find a variety of both french and english attractions, offering the best of both worlds. This is the only event of its kind in the Montreal area that gathers so much comic-book, sci-fi, manga/anime and video-game glory all in one place.
The new dates for this year's Montreal Comiccon are July 3-5, 2015 @ Palais des congrès.
Tickets sell out fast so make sure to get your tickets early here.
