Montreal To Host Quebec's Biggest Whisky & Champagne Festival
An event all connoisseurs need not miss.
When you normally think of whisky, you think of Tennessee whisky, bourbon, or scotch. But you you may not realize that we actually make a ton of great whiskies right here in Canada. And it doesn't stop there either.
There are distilleries all over the country putting a uniquely Canadian twist on alcohol of all kinds. The only problem is, finding them. Luckily for you, Quebec's biggest tasting festival is coming to Montreal this month, and you're invited!
On September 22 and 23, the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal will be home to Bulles, Whisky et Cie. With over 150 products, 30 different vendors, 8 mixologists, and the best whiskies, sparkling wines, and spirits in Quebec, this is the largest event of its kind, and a great way to spend a Thursday night in the city!
Discover the world of Quebec-made alcohols of all kinds through the eyes of the very people who make it, along with a whole slew of delicious cocktails, tasty nibbles, and 2 DJ's keeping you grooving all night long. Plus, you'll get to sample a variety of exclusive products not yet available at the SAQ.
And to top it all off, Boire will be celebrating their 2nd anniversary with a huge mixology contest! Hosted by PY Lord (TVA/CKOI), some of Quebec's finest mixologists will face off against each other to create the best cocktails you've never even heard of for your tasting pleasure.
There's also plenty to see and do for you gin-lovers out there, as Bulles, Whisky et Cie will also be bringing together all 9 of Quebec's gin producers under the same roof to showcase their world-class products.
Tickets cost $25, definitely worth all the free samples you'll be sipping throughout the evening, but if you still need convincing, admission also includes some free merch like an official tasting glass, and a $25 of gaming coupons for the roulette table. Guaranteed your local bar doesn't have that.
