Montreal Is Getting A Huge 4-Day Beer Festival This Summer
It's beer o'clock!
Do you guys know what the best thing about summer is? I mean, besides it being terrasse season? It’s the fact that we can all enjoy a tasty, fresh beer while soaking up some sunshine. That’s right guys, you know it and I know it, beer just tastes better in the summer.
And to kick off the season, Mondial de la bière will be celebrating its 25th edition next June. Now if you don’t know what Mondial de la bière is then you have been living under a big, big rock. Or maybe you just don’t like beer. Either way, you NEED to know about this festival.
Mondial de la bière is a unique beer tasting event that goes down every single year in Montreal (and worldwide, too!). Actually, it’s known as the greatest international beer festival and trust me, I know that’s a big statement... but seriously, you have to check it out for yourself. (Ps, this year will showcase more than 650 beers, ciders and spirits!).
It’s the only festival that offers visitors a variety of beers from all over the world. And since they like to keep things exclusive, they even carry beers that you can only find and taste at the festival, which will feature more than 110 breweries!
And that’s not all. On top of multiple tasting workshops, they also offer educational tours and entertainment every single day during the festival.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, get this. Entrance to the festival is absolutely, 100% FREE. That’s right, FREE!
This year, the festival will be taking place during the course of four days starting on Wednesday, June 6 and going on until Saturday, June 9 from noon until 11 PM.
So what are you waiting for? Grab some friends (preferably those that like beers, ciders and spirits) and head to the Palais de Congrès (201 Viger Street West) for a day full of beer, food and fun!
