School starting again means there are all kinds of stationery supply costs and outrageously expensive textbooks to wake you up from the irresponsibility of summer. But nothing drains a student’s resources quite as effectively as rent.
Where you live makes a huge difference in how you experience a city, and a little help with living costs certainly makes things a lot more comfortable.
This summer, one lucky Montreal student will have the opportunity to live completely rent-free for a whole year with an unmissable contest from EVO, the stylish residences focused on the needs of students.
That's right, you could nab 1 year’s worth of rent in EVO’s insanely well-equipped Old Montreal location, snagging yourself a luxurious double room with access to an indoor pool, a gym, yoga classes and much, much more.
As well as its many amenities, EVO Old Montreal is situated in the heart of city and features what are undoubtedly some of the best views in all of Montreal.
The competition runs from now until September 5, and is also an opportunity for the students of Montreal to show off some of their school pride early. The #ShowYourColors campaign is pitting the city’s universities against each other to decide once and for all who is Montreal's top dog.
To make your voice heard and to join in, watch out for the EVO Street Team who will be handing out stickers on campus at various universities all across the city, including Université de Montréal, UQAM, McGill, HEC Montréal, École Polytechnique de Montréal and Concordia.
Stay alert when strolling on your campus for your chance to spot them, or sign up directly at EVO Old Montreal to enter the contest.
Then it's as easy as adding your sticker to the huge installation in front of EVO Old Montreal to see which university rules with the most team pride. The winning colour will be left on display ALL semester long, so make sure you and your friends turn up and represent!
If the idea of swanning about in a gorgeous rent-free apartment sounds good to you, then you gotta check out EVO’s #ShowYourColors contest and rock some serious school spirit by adding your colours for all to see!
