Ah, summer in Montreal. If you want proof that the summer is magic, look no further than this beautiful city; drinking on terrasses, brunching with friends, discovering music festivals, hiking up Mont-Royal, biking along the Lachine Canal... is there anything you can't do during a glorious Montreal summer?
And one more thing to make summer in the city that much more awesome? Montreal's very own Wet Wednesdays, hosted by Terrasses Bonsecours!
Terrasses Bonsecours is my absolute favourite terrasse in the city. The views are insane, it's right on the water and they always have the best drink specials and music. That's why everyone *needs* to check out their Wet Wednesdays. Here's the deal: every Wednesday, Terrasses Bonsecours is THE place to be. They have insane DJs, crazy drink specials and the party is lit!
Everybody's out here living for the weekend, but why can't you party mid-week? It's the best way to break up the work week and makes the weekend feel like it comes just that much sooner! Also, rain or shine, the party is still going - which not a lot of terraces can say about their venues.
Every single Wet Wednesdays is always packed - people start lining up before dinner, NO JOKE. And is it just me or do people just look hotter on terraces? That might not be a scientifically proven fact, but I think we can all agree that is the true tea.
Terrasses Bonsecours is also having a major party that'll close out the season on August 14th, to celebrate their 10th anniversary. If you love the sound of Wet Wednesdays, you will NOT want to miss this. Bonus: There will be FREE food and FREE drinks from 7 - 9 PM! The NYC-themed 10th Anniversary Party will also feature incredible music by DJ DZEKO, Yo-C, WAVES, Toddy Flores and Evangelos.
Sounds like an amazing way to celebrate an already incredible summer? You know it! Oh, and PS - if Friday night is more your jam, no worries. Terrasses Bonsecours keeps the party going on Friday nights, too, with their Nightfall Fridays featuring Montana, Miss Shelton and Markus Red on DJ duty and some seriously awesome food and drink!
