Old Montreal Is Hosting The Biggest Free New Year's Eve 2016 Party In The City
Don't miss this!
New Year's Eve for many of us is, the biggest night of the year. Or at least the biggest party! Some like to dress up fancy and attend a classy ball, others prefer to hit up the club and rage the night away on the dance floor, and many just want to have a good time without breaking the bank. The most important thing in the end, though, is that we spend it surrounded by our favourite people, right?
Well Merry Montreal, now on its 3rd edition, feels exactly the same way and wants everyone to celebrate together. That's why it's throwing the most insane NYE party in the entire city, complete with music, activities, fireworks and more! Best part is, it won't cost you a thing to go.
Starting at 7pm on December 31, head over to Place Jacques-Cartier in the heart of Old Montreal to check out the various festivities, grab some mulled wine, and warm up by the fire pits. Then, make your way down to the stage at the Quais Jacques-Cartier in the Old port for a giant free concert featuring performances by Quebec sensations Dumas, Bernard Adamus, Yann Perrault and Cœur de Pirate.
At the stroke of midnight, it's time to marvel at the Coca Cola fireworks display, lighting up the skies of our great city, and officially ringing in 2016 with a BANG! After that, DJ VitoV from Virgin Radio will be keeping the party going (and our bodies moving!) until 2am to the sounds of the best tracks of the year.
If you don't know what do to on NYE and are looking to party with thousands of your fellow Montrealers, this is IT!
