Truly, one of the major redeeming qualities of winter is the opportunity to carve and shred snow on a board strapped to your feet. What we like to call Canadian surfing, snowboarding is just about the best way to make the most of the cold season, and when combined with live bands, art, great food, and World Cup events over the course of an entire weekend, you get one hell of a winter party.
The 9th Edition of the Snowboard Jamboree presented by Mazda in collaboration with Vidéotron Mobile, returns February 19 to 22 to host the FIS Snowboard World Cup in Quebec City and Stoneham Mountain Resort.
Watch some 200 athletes from all over the world compete for a podium finish at the FIS Big Air and Slopestyle World Cups, and enjoy a flurry (pun!) of free entertainment and activities, including the Stairmasters Competition, the inaugural Night Bazaar, and the official Snowboard Jamboree Party at Le Cercle, with live snowboarding, DJ's, demos, food and more.
Festivities officially kick off on Friday, February 20 at 6 pm with the FIS Big Air World Cup at Îlot Fleurie, open to women for the first very time in history btw, with epic after-parties happening in both Quebec and Stoneham you seriously don't want to miss!
