If there's one thing every Montrealer can agree on, it's that we love to eat! When it comes to food, it doesn't matter where you're from, you just want to know where to find the good stuff, and that's why we're here: to hook you up with the good stuff.
We are especially lucky to live somewhere with such a plethora of options too, so when a restaurant has been around for almost a decade, you know it must be doing something right.
Château Kabab on Guy just below de Maisonneuve, serves up some of the most authentic Persian, Iraqi, and Lebanese cuisine in the city, with quality you won't find anywhere else. All their meat is 100% Halal, and while they do offer all the Middle-Eastern staples (and then some), it's really the wood-grilled kababs cooked to perfection that keep us coming back time and time again.
Get a fully-loaded trio for under $10 between classes, or Château Kabab also offers a huge, 2-floor dining room for when you feeling a bit fancy. Other dishes we highly suggest are the lentil soup, which if you grew up eating middle-eastern food, tastes just like home, and the way they do rice is just phenomenal. My advice, always get the rice.
From hummus to falafel, kafta kabab to chicken soltani, daily specials, mouth-watering Baklawa and everything in between, you'll find it all at Château Kabab.
Plus on top of their super convenient location right next to Concordia University, Château Kabab just released an app to make ordering while you're being lectured about economics, or communications, or whatever it is you kids are into these days, easier than finding a pothole in Montreal.
All you students out there, listen up - this is your new go-to place for quick and delicious kebabs when that hunger strikes you hard.
