Ramen lovers, rejoice, because Montreal now has a brand new spot to go and enjoy a bowl of your fave!
Kinton Ramen (1211 Rue Bishop) has just recently set up shop in downtown Montreal.
If the name sounds familiar, that's because Kinton has already come to Montreal in the form of a popup ramen shop last year - and, honestly, one slurp of their amazing ramen left us wanting way, way more.
This ramen restaurant has already taken Toronto by storm, with five locations and counting but the Bishop location is the first one to open up outside of Toronto - which means that we can enjoy Kinton's signature savoury, complex ramen dishes, right here in Montreal, whenever we want!
Although their ramen is the stuff of legit legends, IMO, even giving you the option to totally choose your broth, meats, noodles, and toppings (I love combining their original pork ramen with thick noodles, seaweed, scallions, and grated garlic, for example), as well as offering up their new, Ice Cold Ramen (with slushy broth!) so you can enjoy your favourite dish even during the summer... well, Kinton Ramen's not just all about the ramen.
This restaurant's also got a world of awesome Japanese tapas for you to choose from, like gyoza, wasabi marinated octopus, karaage (Japanese fried chicken), and much, much more. Combine that with their delicious house sake, and you've got one winning meal right there.
Oh, and if you're a true ramen lover, then they've got you covered. Their Kinton Bowler loyalty program means that you can devour all of the ramen you want, and get prizes for it, too (!!).
Tie that all in with their spacious, gorgeous, and accommodating outdoor terrasse, incredibly friendly, welcoming, and casual atmosphere, and what do you get? Well, friends, you get one seriously awesome spot to slurp some ramen, drink some sake, and chill with friends.
