While everyone in the city generally can't wait for winter to be over, there are certain Montrealers who are especially dying for the return of summer so they can get back to their happy place - Camp! Many of us have fond memories of summers past at camp, spent playing in tournaments of any sport, failing swim tests, and sneaking away from the camp fire with a cute fellow counsellor.
Part of the fun even before getting to camp though, was your parents taking you shopping to get all your stuff like a duffel bag, new clothes, pre-printed labels to put in your clothing, candy for your toolbox, or games to play in the tent/cabin/bunk at night. Having the most swag camp gear was clutch, just not always easy to find.
Then as soon as we got old enough, we'd train as staff and become counsellors (so many good times, cue nostalgia) and it's around this time of year when camps start hiring, meet-and-greets are coming up in weeks to come, and people are beginning to plan and get excited.
While the times might have changed, having cool gear and apparel will always be in fashion. Whether it's for you or your campers, you want to make sure you have everything you need before you go that will ensure you have the best summer ever.
Like fast-food socks.
Glow-in-the-dark silly string.
Anti-hipster tees like MinkPink.
Bunk security, because raids.
Emoji sweat pants.
Or lazy pants.
