Sometimes there's only so much awesomeness you can handle. And that threshold was reached earlier this week when we came across Bacon Cheesecake. If you've been paying attention to recent dessert trends you'll know that the best way to enjoy cake is in lollipop form. So naturally the next step was to make cheesecake pops and since regular old cheesecake isn't cutting it anymore, the only logical thing to do is to create Bacon Cheesecake Pops.

Get ready to be punched in the mouth with a full-on assault of flavor. Just make sure to eat all your favorite sweets one last time before trying these because once you do, none of them will ever hold a candle to the glory that is the Bacon Cheesecake Pops.
Making regular cake pops is pretty easy. You bake a cake with any box mix you find at the grocery store. Crumble the cake into a bowl. Add 1 or 2 spoonfuls of frosting to help the cake crumbles bind together. Shape the mixture into little balls. Mount them on a stick and cover them in frosting.
Cheesecake however doesn't have the same cakey texture. Which is why we suggest using a light vanilla flavored cake mix. Binding it with cream cheese or cheesecake filling instead of frosting. Once your pops are shaped, mount them on a stick , cover them with cream cheese frosting. The just top them off with crumbled bacon. (salty or candied depending on your personal preference)
