Yes that's right, deep fried Sriracha somehow exist. Now I know exactly what you're thinking: "Jeremy, you can't deep fry liquid you dumbass." And you're pretty much right, which is why the people at ohbiteit these should really be called deep fried sriracha cornbread balls.

That makes a lot more sense, and it sounds pretty damn delicious. In fact it sounds so good it that it makes us realize that if you can deep fry corn bread, you can deep fry pretty much any cake mix. Deep fried banana bacon muffins? I know what I'll be writing about tomorrow.

Now back to the Sriracha balls. Time to line up your ingredients, all you'll need is:

  • 15 ounces of cornbread mix
  • 3/4 cups of sriracha
  • 1/3 cup of veg oil
  • 1 Egg
  • Deep fryer

Combine the cornbread mix, the oil the egg and the Sriracha in a bowl until you achieve a texture similar to that of a thick batter. Then just drop one teaspoon at a time in boiling oil (350 degrees) until they puff up and they become crispy and golden. Serve them with your favorite dip.
