Cheese, pepperoni, onions, all are pretty standard toppings on a pizza, ones you can get pretty much anywhere. Meatballs, on the other hand, aren't your typical pizza topping and can only be found on top of some 'za at Bolo Bolo, St. Laurent streets new meatball-themed restaurant.
Bolo Bolo only opened last week, so this is the first glimpse of the meatballerie's (yes, I just made up that term) menu. The thin-crust meatball pizza looks like a must-try. Meatballs may classically be placed on top of spaghetti, but a pizza looks like an amazing substitute.
If you want an alcoholic beverage with your meatball, Bolo Bolo does that too, offering up a hot ball of meat in a spicy bloody Caesar. Or skip the drink, and get your meatball paired with some mac 'n cheese, because you can never go wrong with a meatball-pasta combination. Both are pictured below.
