For Everyone Who Doesn't Speak Spanish, Here's "Despacito" Translated Into English

So you can know more than Justin Bieber.
For Everyone Who Doesn't Speak Spanish, Here's "Despacito" Translated Into English

Guys, I'm not even going to lie to you. Despacito is my favourite song right now.

I know you guys might think I'm basic AF for saying that, but I don't care. Sometimes you need to embrace the basic, and shake it to a medley of Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber. It's just the way the world works.

Being a huge fan of the song, but also not someone who speaks Spanish fluently, I often wondered what it is that I'm singing and dancing along to.

Also being someone who doesn't like to not know everything, I decided to look up the translated version of "Despacito" on lyrictranslate.com... and share it with all of you:

Yeah, you know I've been watching you for a while / I have to dance with you today (DY!) / I saw that your eyes were already calling me / Show me the way I'm going (oh) / You, you are the magnet and I am the metal / I'm getting closer and I'm making the plan / Just the thought of it accelerates my heartbeat (oh, yeah) / Now I'm enjoying it more than usual / All my senses are asking for more / This should be taken without a rush...

Slowly  (TIL  that despacito is Spanish for slowly).

Canadians are pretty boring, at least when it comes to their Tim Hortons Timbits picks. To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the popular donut holes, the coffee chain released a regional breakdown of the most popular Timbits orders.

In Quebec, the classic Chocolate Glazed won out, followed by Honey Dip and Birthday Cake. Those choices align with the most popular orders in Ontario and Western Canada (including Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the three territories).

I Tried Justin Bieber's New 'Timbiebs' & As Far As Snacks Go, I'm A Belieber

Haven't tried them yet? It's not too late to say sorry. You should go and love yourself. 🤪

When Tim Hortons announced the launch of Justin Bieber's "Timbiebs," I experienced some Canadian nostalgia. I remembered the days when all the girls at my high school gushed over Bieber (and his bowl cut) and the song "Baby" played on the radio so often that it was stuck in my head for months.

Years later, the Canadian pop star has gone on to achieve bigger and better things, but his latest project could be the greatest of them all: releasing three flavours of Timbits. If you haven't gotten the chance to try them yet, here's my honest review.

Justin Bieber and Tim Hortons are teaming up in an unlikely partnership to bring you three new Timbit donut flavours you didn't ask for but are getting anyway.

The coffee chain made the announcement via a new ad that shows the Canadian singer brainstorming possible new flavour combinations, ultimately deciding on Birthday Cake Waffle, Chocolate White Fudge and Sour Cream Chocolate Chip.

Here's What's Open & What's Closed On Labour Day In Montreal

There are still a ton of things to do this Monday holiday!
  • Here's a short list of what's open and what's closed on Labour Day in Montreal.
  • If you're heading out, make sure to call ahead to your destination to inquire about reduced hours.

Yes, it's a long weekend! Three uninterrupted days to relax, have fun, and not think for two seconds about things like school or work, or other responsibilities until Tuesday morning. Not to be too depressing but it will be six weeks before we get another official long weekend.

But let's focus on the positive! This is usually one of the summer weekends that people are trying to pack in their last days of camping or chalet time. But if you're planning to stay in the city it's good to know what's open and what's closed so you can plan out your Labour Day weekend.
