FREE Food And Gourmet Cooking Classes In Laval Tomorrow

For the third year in a row Laval's Centropolis will host Énvenement Éco-Gourmand at its Place Centrale. On September 12, from 1pm to 6pm, head over there and enjoy free food samplings, gourmet cooking classes and an open-air market with vendors to teach you all about different green initiatives.
The three head chefs of Centropolis: Jean-Francois of Plante L'Aromate, Kim Cun of Sukho Thaï & Kiyomi, and Fernando Rodas of Calvi, will surprise you with their amazing ideas, tips and tricks, all while cooking you some delicious food to eat throughout the afternoon.
You'll also be able to see the harvesting of the vegetables that are grown at Centropolis, which are then donated to the Moisson Montreal who distributes them to food banks in Laval. You are also invited to bring a non-perishable food item for a collection to be donated to the Moisson. Seems like a fair trade off for a super fun afternoon of free food and cooking.
