In Montreal, up until recently, pretty much the only time when you could enjoy free public transportation was on the night of Montreal en Lumieres.
However this year, to celebrate Montreal's 375th anniversary, we got an entire free STM weekend so that people could enjoy all the activities the city had to offer. Then during Fomula E, we got another one.
Everyone says that NYC is the city that never sleeps but I think Montreal comes in a pretty close second. There's constantly insane parties, super fun festivals, amazing art shows, adorable markets and sooo many more!
What: Montreal is hosting a huge vintage bazar with tons of clothes and local artisans selling their amazing stuff. There will be pizza available on-site as well located at Au Centre de Loisirs communautaires Lajeunesse in Villeray.
What: To celebrate the end of construction on Notre Dame street at the corner of Rose de Lima there's going to be a huge outdoor festival for everyone to enjoy! There will be games, live music, tons of local restaurants participating, and other fun stuff!
What: Lole Women is hosting a huge yoga event this weekend, similar to their massive all-white yoga tour that came to Montreal this summer. This event will be an all-white yoga event with just one yoga session on Saturday.
What: The CIBC annual Run For The Cure takes place to raise money for breast cancer research. It's more likely than not that someone in your family or a close friend has suffered from cancer and this is a way to run in support of them. This year's run will take place at Montreal's Maisonneuve Park.
There's truly never a dull moment when you live in the city of Montreal. There's constantly a street sale, a festival, an outdoor concert or a block party going on somewhere in the city that you can discover.
